2007 FILMS ARE ANNOUNCED
This year's film submissions were the best and most exciting yet. Due to our unique festival format not all the films can be selected to premier. We thank all the filmmakers that submitted films to the 2007 festival.
This years films will give the audience insight to new adventure sports, and the future of action sports. Some footage has never been seen before. This is the most fun, fast paced, high-energy progressive film festival in the world. We hope you enjoy the films.
- Kranked 6 - The best trials bike footage ever shot featuring the king of trials-Ryan Leach. Radical Films delivers again staying at the forefront of the free ride mountain bike world movement. (9 minutes)
- Eiger Speed Riding - Features a new sport in Europe that brings speed and flight to skiing. This film captures the first descent of its kind on the famous Eiger in Switzerland. (3 minutes)
- Kids Who Rip - This is the next generation of superstars. Traveling the country and receiving hours of submitted footage, Kids Who Rip has put together a video featuring great action, with fun and talented young athletes. (9 minutes)
- Points North Heli - PNH has provided a Warren Miller film edited for the film festival. It features PNH owner Kevin Quinn with a few disabled skiers on the perfect day in Cordova AK. Includes a tribute to ski legend Doug Coombs. (10 minutes)
- Hello My Name is - A special editors cut from First Tracks Productions featuring local Tahoe riders shot on location around Lake Tahoe and abroad. (10 minutes)
- Seven Sunny Days - A segment from Matchstick Productions newest release featuring a spoof on a famous James Bond scene staring Shane McConkey. Also the best wing suit, ski BASE-jumping segment ever captured on filmed. (8 minutes)
- Linescore - Coreshot Films special editors cut featuring two local Tahoe skiers on the North American Free Ride Tour. Amazing crash segment with great footage from the tours final stop at Kirkwood CA. (10 minutes)
- Grand Canyon Climbing - Josh Lowell of Big Up production will hand deliver this 2-week-old film to TAFF. This first of its kind film features highlights of a Grand Canyon climbing trip with climbing superstar Tommy Caldwell and Beth Roden from November 2007. This footage has never been seen anywhere! (Approx.10 minutes) All films will premier at the 2007 Tahoe Adventure Film Festival at Montbleu Resort and Casino, December 15th 2007 6:30 PM.
