This years guest appearances from industry stars will be anounced soon. The past years have included Royal Robbins and Shane McConkey as featured guest speakers . Internationally acclaimed action photographer Corey Rich will have large format action images on display from his new book "My favorite place" and be avalible for book signings.

Host venue for the competition is Mont Bleu Hotel & Casino (formerly Caeasrs), located in the heart of south shores downtown action.

The Main Event is Saturday evening featuring 10-12 minute clips from the top ten adventure and action films of the year.

Last years winner was producer Dan Heaton with his film of extreme unicycling. Expect more action from the 2006 contest finalists, with more adventure films making the final cut.

Friday evening Lake Tahoe Community College 7:00pm will kick off the festival with a guest speaker to be announced. Adventure photographer Corey Rich will have a collection of adventure sports images on display in large format from his new book at LTCC Theater and at the “Main Event” Saturday night at Mont Bleu. Todd Offenbacher, event host, adventurer, and popular TV host for the Resort Sports Network says “This is no stuffy film festival. We plan to entertain the crowd with everything from DJ’s, and action photography, to the best adventure films of the year with a few surprises mixed in too.

Dec 16th-MAIN EVENT Mont Bleu presents the Tahoe Adventure Film Festival Doors will open at 6:30pm Saturday, with films showing from 7:30 to 9:30. A post Awards Party will directly follow the film festival at Blu (formerly Nero) Tickets may be purchased in advance through Caesars ticket office 800-648-3353 or at ticketmaster.com

Dec.15th- Opening night- Guest Speaker to be announced along with Corey Rich photo display at the Lake Tahoe Community College.
